The Initial Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.
Across the gaming landscape, enthusiasts continue to ring the death bells for the Xbox brand. Xbox was recently outsold by a relatively obscure console. Dedicated Xbox communities began covering on PS5 topics as a new development. 2025 was complete chaos for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it's evident that Microsoft still intends to attract subscribers with quality releases on its key platform.
The Available Now Titles
The duo of games currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.
Upcoming Headline Games
Come mid-January, the subscription service will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that deviates from the standard Ubisoft formula with a space-faring criminal escapade. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "the perfect cocktail of horror and action."
Noteworthy Smaller Games
But even the smaller games arriving shortly on the service are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th β and it merits a playthrough even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.
The game set in a ruined Britain from last year might get its hooks in you remarkably quickly.
Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine β Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.
A Robust Selection of Games
All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. However, this batch of games are rock solid. The lineup provides a solid mix of past releases that passed you by and fairly new titles that failed to receive the spotlight they warranted upon launch β which makes them ideal prospects to get a second chance on Game Pass.
You might need to brace yourself to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
