The win also signifies he has won 21 championships at twenty-one various tournaments.
"For the first time I have attended a event with my two daughters simultaneously, so to win a title is really nice," stated tennis professional Medvedev.

Medvedev, the former major winner, had been defeated in his previous six championship matches, including in the German tournament in the past months.
The player's retrieving approach and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had led some to question if his ability to perform at the elite level was concluded.
However the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, striving to approach the net and perform aggressively, reinforced by an improved service.
The champion came back from a deficit in the first set against the difficult Moutet, securing 4 of the concluding five games to take the lead.
The competitors exchanged breaks in the second set before Moutet, striving for his initial professional victory, seized the initiative to create a final set.
Moutet defended four initial break points in a competitive third set before the Russian broke to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned victory with a rally at the front of the court, with his opponent failing to handle a return after a lengthy match.
