Manchester United against Brighton – Premier League Updates

Preamble

Manchester United, after defeating Liverpool and Sunderland, aim for a trio of victories on the bounce this evening. They have momentum under Ruben Amorim for the very first time!

However, Brighton are Brighton & Hove Albion, having triumphed during three consecutive away games at Manchester United’s home, winning six from seven encounters head-to-head.

Despite United’s form; for the Seagulls it’s been a breeze. Nevertheless, Brighton are otherwise as gloriously unpredictable as their hosts, so this game is competing and maybe highly entertaining.

Start time is 5.30 in the evening one last mention because remember the clocks fall back tonight, everyone. Game on!

Team News

Manchester United make a couple of alterations after last week’s victory at Anfield last weekend. Benjamin Šeško comes in for Mason Mount, relegated to the bench, while last week’s win-securing hero Maguire misses out at all, Yoro replaces him in defense.

An issue arose during training this week. Tyrell Malacia is named on the bench in 2025-26.

The Seagulls opted for one change following victory at home versus Newcastle. It’s ostensibly a defensive one, including Maxim De Cuyper replacing Gómez, who drops to the bench.

Danny Welbeck, a member of the last Manchester United squad that lifted the title in 2012-13, comes back to Manchester on a hot streak with four recent goals, an improvement on over his last 15 matches.

Pre-Match Patter

Amorim is unfazed regarding comments from the Reds’ manager … but Danny Welbeck is highly concerned about the considerations of Thomas Tuchel.

It is widely discussed the fixture may influence their respective fortunes as the Premier League campaign progresses.

Star performers are the captain for United plus Welbeck in blue and white, each performing well in recent weeks.
